Do you charge for admission to watch the Festival?
The simple answer is yes, as a charity we do charge admittance to the all those wishing to watch competitors at our Festival, this enables us to raise funds which in turn we invest back into our competitors either as Bursary Awards or as one of our beneficiaries from our Charity Aid.
Can I request a specific perormance date?
You can but unfortunately these are never guaranteed as the running order is done to ensure the smooth running of the Festival, although we always try to accommodate those that we can.
Refunds will not be issued in the event of a non-dance due to specific date requests not being successful.
Can I request to dance out of section?
Unfortunately the answer is no, however the Festival Committee reserves the right to use their discretion depending on the eventuality of the circumstances surrounding the request.
How do I know if I am a novice?
At our Festival a novice is deemed as a competitor who has never gained 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place at any other festival.
Can I video my child during their performance?
No, we do not permit any person or persons to video any performances which take place during the festival.
Where is the venue and is there car parking available?
Rogers Theatre is located on the grounds of Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire WR14 3DJ
There is plenty of on road parking available in Thirlstane Road. The nearest car park is located just down from the theatre at Malvern Active, Malvern College Sports Complex, Thirlstane Road, Malvern WR14 3PL
Where do I hand in my music?
Music should be handed in at the front admissions desk located in the foyer at least two sections prior to competitors section.
Can I take photos of my child?
No, photos are only permitted by persons other than the Festival's Official Photographer in public spaces as detailed in our Safeguarding Policy, which is available in the syllabus and on our Safeguarding Policy page.
